Ricky
Stenhouse Jr.
Mississippi native Ricky Stenhouse Jr. enters his seventh full-time NASCAR Cup Series season behind the wheel of the No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro for the newly rebranded Hyak Motorsports and his 14th overall full-time Cup Series season. He started his racing journey at the age of six in kart racing, where he amounted 47 wins and 90 podium finishes prior to moving up to sprint car racing in 2003. He acquired a number of titles, awards, and wins prior to moving to the ARCA Menards Racing Series in 2008. From there, he climbed the ranks of NASCAR, including earning back-to-back NASCAR O'Reilly Series championships in 2011 and 2012 before moving full time to the Cup Series in 2013. He earned Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors to go along with his four wins, 26 top fives, and 63 top 10s. Fast forward to 2020, Stenhouse joined the No. 47 team as its full-time driver. Two of his victories have come with that iconic number: the 2023 Daytona 500 win at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway and his 2024 YellaWood 500 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.
